Open Education Resources
Learning without barriers.
We believe in open science and open education. That's why all of our course materials are available for free all the time for everyone, everywhere.

High Quality.
Free to Use.
We work with a network of individual contributors, labs, and organization-level partners around the world to build course materials that are open source and open access on Github.
You can easily contribute to these materials or use them in your own courses, classrooms, or summer schools. All materials are CC-BY licensed and hosted on Github as a modular collection of Jupyterbooks which makes them easily forkable, adaptable, and splittable.

Python (course prerequisites)
Python Workshop
- Day 1
- Learn basic operations with Python variables, control flow, plotting, and take a sneak peek at np.array, the workhorse of scientific computation in Python.
- Day 2
- Introduction to spikes in our LIF neuron and evaluate the refractory period’s effect in spiking dynamics.
Climate Specific Python Resources
- Coursebook Link
- Leveraging Project Pythia's open education tutorials, you'll find specific tutorials that align with the Python concepts needed to be successful in the Computational Tools for Climate Science course.
